The car was supplied built from the factory in August 1990. Although origionally registered with the 996 KCG, at some point this was transferred off and the car reverted to that of the donor, a 1964 Midget. As it left the factory, it had the optional Connolly hide seats, chrome wire wheels (long gone), and halogen headlights. Since then it has received quite a few modifications, mainly thanks to the previous owner. It now has a 1293cc Peter May engine, Weber 45DCOE carb, Maniflow LCB exhaust system, Frontline front suspension, front ARB, and a Frontline Ford Type 9 5-speed box. |
